Building Inclusive Digital Spaces in Ang Mo Kio
We’re AccessLearn AMK Pte Ltd, and we’re here to teach web design with accessibility at its core. It’s not just about building beautiful websites — it’s about building them for everyone.
Our Focus on Accessible Web Design
We’re passionate about training the next generation of web designers who understand that accessibility isn’t an afterthought — it’s fundamental. We’ve been teaching in Ang Mo Kio since 2019, and we’ve seen firsthand how proper design training transforms careers.
Practical Web Design Training
Our courses aren’t theoretical. We teach real skills — HTML, CSS, responsive design, and user experience principles. You’ll work on actual projects, not just exercises. We’re focused on getting you job-ready, and that means you’ll leave understanding how the web actually works.
Accessibility From Day One
WCAG compliance, semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, screen reader testing — these aren’t optional topics we squeeze in at the end. They’re woven throughout everything we teach. You’ll build the habit of thinking about all users, not just the ones with perfect vision.
Community-Centered Learning
We’re based in Ang Mo Kio, and we’re committed to making quality design education accessible to this community. Whether you’re 18 or 45, changing careers or starting fresh, we’ve got programs that fit your situation. No gatekeeping. Real learning for real people.
Our Three-Step Learning Journey
AccessLearn AMK Pte Ltd follows a structured approach that builds skills progressively. You won’t be overwhelmed, and you won’t be bored either.
Foundations
We start with the building blocks — semantic HTML, CSS fundamentals, and the principles of inclusive design. You’ll understand why we do things a certain way, not just what to do.
Application
Then you’ll apply what you’ve learned. Real projects. Real problems. You’ll build responsive websites, test for accessibility issues, and iterate based on feedback — just like you’d do in a professional role.
Mastery
By the end, you’ll have a portfolio of work that shows you understand design, development, and accessibility. You won’t just know the theory — you’ll be able to explain your decisions and defend your choices.
Why Ang Mo Kio Matters to Us
We’re not just another online course platform. We’re rooted in this community. That means you’ll have actual instructors you can talk to, peer groups that meet regularly, and support that’s genuine.
Over 300 students trained since 2019, many now working as designers or developers in Singapore
Small class sizes — never more than 12 students per session, so you actually get feedback on your work
Flexible scheduling because we understand real life — evening classes, weekend workshops, and self-paced options
Job placement support and ongoing mentorship after you finish your course
What We Believe
AccessLearn AMK Pte Ltd is built on a few core beliefs that shape everything we do.
Accessibility is Design
You can’t bolt accessibility on at the end. It’s not a feature — it’s a fundamental principle. Good design works for everyone, and we won’t teach it any other way.
Learning is Practical
Theory matters, but it’s nothing without application. We believe you learn by doing, by making mistakes, and by getting real feedback from instructors who’ve done this work professionally.
Community Matters
The best learning happens in groups. You’ll be surrounded by people who are curious, motivated, and genuinely want to improve. That energy is contagious, and it makes you better.
Growth Over Gatekeeping
We don’t believe in keeping knowledge exclusive. Everyone deserves the chance to learn quality design. We’re here to open doors, not close them.
“We’re not here to teach you to build websites that look nice on a perfect screen. We’re here to teach you to build websites that work for everyone. That’s the real skill.”
That’s what we’re committed to. If you’re ready to learn design the right way — with accessibility, with purpose, and with a community that supports you — we’d love to have you join us.
